How Pricing Works
Most cases are handled on a retainer basis. A retainer allows us to begin work promptly and dedicate the time and resources needed to properly handle your case.
Pricing is influenced by the type of investigation, the number of hours required, travel, timing, and the level of documentation involved. For example, surveillance investigations may require multiple hours over several days, while locates and skip tracing may be quoted differently depending on the circumstances.
Typical Retainer Ranges
At Paramount Investigative Services Inc. offers a wide variety of services: surveillance and more. With that said, we work just like attorneys do. We come up with a scope of services, take a retainer to cover the amount of hours and or costs, then get started.
Rate Breakdown
Retainers vary depending on the complexity of the case. In most situations, retainers typically range between: $500 – $2,500+. Once we have a signed service agreement we will send you a payment link via email or text message. Payment is easy; credit cards, debit cards and ACH. We even accept retainers via paypal, venmo, zelle and Cash app. Once paid, we will book your case! Trust us, the process is easier than it sounds.
For most investigative matters our rates are on an hourly basis ranging from 83.00 per hour up to 225.00 per hour. With that said, most investigative work is billed at the 135hr or 150hr. Due to the cost of living in Los Angeles we do charge for drive time, miles and anything else that takes time; reports, video, emails and extreme communication will get billed at the appropriate hourly rate.
More involved matters, including workers’ compensation and fraud investigations or difficult service of process, may require additional time and resources. For Insurance companies, Self Insured Companies, Insurance adjusters and or SIU Investigators, we do offer volume discounts.
Auto Repossession fees are on a case by case basis.
