The initial documentation in either case; workplace or auto accidents would be getting a description, car model, home or work address and making sure that the claimant can be located and identified. Next, the visual and audio surveillance evidence. All of the evidence gathered from a scene before, during and after the investigation should be documented properly. This documentation becomes legal evidence if used in court and can be used to sway the outcome of the trial.
